Invite An Author to Your School or Library.

Invite an author to your school or library. Words are powerful, and writing is fun! Linda can share that excitement of words, books, and reading with all ages. She’s got classroom experience, helping students write stories for a book, and she's a popular writers' conference workshop leader.

Grades 1-3: author talk/writing workshop, Q&A, 45-60 minutes (reading optional)

Grades 4-8: author talk/writing workshop, Q&A, 60 minutes

High school/adult: author talk/writing workshop, Q&A, 60 minutes

Assemblies: author talk with anecdotes about writing & publishing, Q&A, 60 minutes

Workshops include how to write stories, books, poetry, or nonfiction articles. These are available for all ages. Exact program will vary, with age-appropriate materials.

Talks include anecdotes about publishing, the writing process, an author’s life

Fees vary, according to program. Travel expenses (including hotel, meals, travel) may apply. Approximate prices: $100 for a single classroom visit of one hour, $150 for an assembly of 1 to 1-1/2 hours, $450 for multiple visits all day at a school.
